Swan 46mkI LE REVE for sale with Yeoman Yachts
Swan 46mkI for sale:

LE REVE

Only twice has Nautor built more than 100 Swans of the same model. The Swan 46 was one of them, which in itself is a testimonial as to how well designed and built these amazing German Frers designed Swans 46s are.

Between 1983 and 1997 Nautor built 109 Swan 46mkI's and Swan 46mkII's off the same hull mold. LE REVE is hull #005 of the mkI.

This broker had the privilege of sailing one of the first built Swan 46s in the 1985 Fastnet Race with over 50 knots across the deck and in steep seas. It was only then that I gained such an enormous respect for these amazing sailing machines.

The Swan 46 is a safe and sea kindly boat with an exceptional turn of speed when you want it. Their upwind performance especially is second to none in the cruising class of sail boat. They are a true pleasure to sail.

The first owner of LE REVE was a European. The present owner purchased LE REVE from the original owner in 1989 when the boat was in the Caribbean.

After their purchase, LE REVE was sailed to the west coast where she remained until 1999. Upon their retirement, LE REVE was sailed back to the Caribbean where she has remained with the owners spending 6 months each year on her.
