Construction

The Swan 66 FD has a canoe body with large volume, offering a spacious interior.

The deck layout has been designed for easy sail handling and good protection from the elements.

Top sides are composite sandwich construction, with carbon fiber reinforcements for a lighter, stiffer hull in addition to better sound and heat insulation.

The structural design of the hull incorporates collision safety features, with the bulkheads made from carbon fiber for maximum stiffness.

The underwater section is coated in a single skin laminate, which provides optimal impact resistance.
