Background

• This model, along with the Swan 66 S, was developed by the German Frers design team to honor Swan’s 40th anniversary.
• It was intended to provide a performance cruising solution that strikes an ideal balance between performance and comfort.
• The Swan 66 FD is a Flush Deck version, with design features that differentiate it from the Swan 60 S version.

Construction

• The Swan 66 FD has a canoe body with large volume, offering a spacious interior.
• The deck layout has been designed for easy sail handling and good protection from the elements.
• Top sides are composite sandwich construction, with carbon fiber reinforcements for a lighter, stiffer hull in addition to better sound and heat insulation.
• The structural design of the hull incorporates collision safety features, with the bulkheads made from carbon fiber for maximum stiffness.
• The underwater section is coated in a single skin laminate, which provides optimal impact resistance.

Details

• Teak joinery is complemented by white surfaces throughout, creating a modern, spacious, functional and bright interior.
• Hull windows in the salon create a spacious, bright living area.
